Source: PL 3-61, § 1 (§ 214); (e) added by PL 15-25, § 4(b), modified; renumbered by PL 19-58 § 4 (Aug. 1, 2016). Commission Comment: PL 15-25 was enacted on August 25, 2006, and did not include any findings or intent provisions but did contain a title section (“The Mandatory Driver Education Act of 2006”) and other amendments, in addition to severability and savings clauses. Pursuant to the authority granted by 1 CMC § 3806, the Commission corrected a manifest error in (e)(1) [changed “a” to “an” before the word “operator’s”] and did not follow the lettering scheme in the original text of PL 15-25, § 4(b).
