§ 221. Commonwealth Flag- Described

TITLE 1: GENERAL PROVISIONS § 221. Commonwealth Flag: Described. The official flag of the Commonwealth shall consist, on both sides, of a rec- tangular field of ocean blue in the dimensions set out below, having in its center a white star superimposed on a gray latte stone, the star and latte stone to be in the proportion 24 inches high and 16 inches wide, if the flag were 78 inches long and 40 inches wide. The stone and star are to be surrounded by the traditional Carolinian mwáár, six inches wide, in the traditional colors of the langilang, flores mayo (seyúr) angagha, and teibwo. The dimensions of the flag shall be as stated in this section. The configuration of the mwáár to the latte stone and star shall follow, in substantial form and proportion, the sketch as set forth in this section. The Commonwealth flag may be reproduced for unofficial purposes in small or larger sizes but in such cases the dimensions shall be in proportion to those stated: Width Length 20’ 38’ 10’ 19’ 8’8” 17’ 5’7” 11’ 5’ 9’5” 2’7” 5’5” 3’5” 6’5” 2’ 4’ 2’3” 4’5” 1’2” 2’5” Dimensions are in feet and inches and are to be the same as used for the U.S. flag.
