§ 2302. Public Auditor- Appointment and Removal
TITLE 9: VEHICLE CODE DIVISION 2: REGISTRATION AND LICENSES § 2302. Display of License, Rates and Driver Identification. (a) Every person operating a vehicle registered as a taxicab shall permanently display in the interior of such vehicle, so as to be plainly visible from wherever a passenger rides therein, the following: (1) A photograph of the operator; (2) The full name of the operator; (3) The taxicab driver’s license number; (4) The taxicab’s registration number; (5) A schedule of taxicab rates, as set by the Bureau of Taxicabs, in Eng- lish, Chamorro, Carolinian, Japanese and Korean; (6) A map which indicates the distances between villages and major tourist sites of the island on which the taxicab is located; and (7) A statement, in the above languages, that every person has the right to make a complaint as to any impropriety on the part of the taxicab driver or owner to the Marianas Visitor’s Bureau or the Bureau of Taxicabs along with the appropriate phone number for each. (b) The photograph, which shall be a true, clear, and recognizable likeness of the face of the operator, shall be of such size; the name, the taxicab driver’s license number, the taxicab registration number and the schedule of rates shall be printed in such form and size and shall be displayed and attached to the interior of the taxicab in such manner as the Bureau of Taxicabs shall prescribe.
