§ 2804. Advisory Board to the Secretary
TITLE 7: CIVIL PROCEDURE DIVISION 2: ACTIONS AND SPECIAL PROCEEDINGS § 2804. Statutory Liability Limitations: Physicians or Nurses Giving EMT, Advanced EMT, Paramedic. (a) No physician who in good faith gives emergency instructions to an EMT, Advanced EMT, or paramedic, at the scene of an emergency, shall be liable for any civil damages as a result of issuing the instructions, unless such instructions are made with negligence as negligence is determined in 7 CMC § 2808 for such professionals. (b) No EMT, Advanced EMT, or paramedic rendering care within the scope of his duties who, in good faith and in a nonnegligent manner, follows the instruc- tions of a physician shall be liable for any civil damages as a result of following such instructions.
