§ 433. Rota- Highway

TITLE 1: GENERAL PROVISIONS § 433. Rota: Highway. (a) The primary arterial highway on the island of Rota, described in subsection (b) of this section, shall be known as the Chalan San Francisco de Borja, in honor of the patron saint of Rota. (b) The Chalan San Francisco de Borja consists of the following: beginning at the Rota International Airport, proceeding east through the Sinapalo intersection to the north shore coast, following the coast road arterial into Songsong village, as the main street, turning south easterly at the public library and following the shore road through the north turn inland and terminating at Sinapalo intersection. (c) In recognition of the late Carlos Songsong Calvo’s community service and conservation efforts on the island of Rota, the road from the west corner of Melchor S. Mendiola Plaza heading east along Route 100 to Malilok Point is hereby named the “Carlos Songsong Calvo Highway.” Source: PL 3-59, §§ 1, 2; Local Law (Rota) 16-7 § 2.
