§ 6522. Polling Places- Hours of Operation
TITLE 1: GOVERNMENT DIVISION 6: ELECTIONS § 6522. Polling Places: Hours of Operation. Polling places shall open at 7:00 a.m. on the day of the election and shall be kept open until 7:00 p.m. on the same day, except that any person who is already at the polling place at 7:00 p.m. shall be allowed to vote. The Commission may close any polling place earlier if all the voters of that election district have voted. Whenever possible, public schools and public buildings shall be utilized as polling places during elections. No rent shall be charged or paid for the use thereof. Source: PL 12-18, § 2 (6522).
