§ 6902. Office of the Governor-Elect
TITLE 1: GOVERNMENT DIVISION 6: ELECTIONS § 6902. Office of the Governor-Elect. There is hereby established the office of the Governor-elect. The office shall come into being on the date upon which the Board of Elections certifies the election of a Governor who does not succeed himself in office. For purposes of this section, an acting Governor who is elected Governor under a law enacted pursuant to N.M.I. Const. art. III, § 7 shall be considered as succeeding himself in office.
