§ 8262. Definitions
TITLE 1: GOVERNMENT DIVISION 8: PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT § 8262. Definitions. As used in this article: (a) “Agency” means any branch, agency, department, instrumentality, or inde- pendent program of the government of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. (b) “Disaster” means any occurrence which activates the Commonwealth Emergency Operations Plan or a declaration of an “emergency or disaster” by the Governor. Source: PL 9-63, § 2.
