§ 2213. Penalties and Enforcement
TITLE 9: VEHICLE CODE DIVISION 2: REGISTRATION AND LICENSES § 2213. Special Accounts Funds Pursuant to Public Law 17-45. Special Accounts Funds realized under PL 17-45 shall be distributed accord- ingly. : (a) The Secretary of Finance shall establish separate special accounts for the respective senatorial districts, Operations Bureau of Motor Vehicle Account (BMV), and shall deposit 50% of the funds realized under PL 17-45 as collected by each respective senatorial district. The expenditure authority for each separate account shall be the respective Department of Public Safety head within that senatorial district. (b) The Secretary of Finance shall establish a special account, Upkeep and Maintenance of Road Shoulders Account and shall deposit 35% of the funds realized under PL 17-45. The expenditure authority shall be the Secretary of Public Works. (c) The Secretary of Finance shall establish a special account, Upkeep and Maintenance of Street Lights Account and shall deposit 15% of the funds realized under PL 17-45. The expenditure authority shall be the Executive Director of the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation. Source: PL 17-45, § 3 (June 13, 2011), modified.
