§ 5309. Treatment for Insects or Other Pests
TITLE 9: VEHICLE CODE DIVISION 5: RULES OF THE ROAD § 5309. Interval Between Vehicles. The operator of a motor vehicle may not follow another vehicle more closely than is reasonable and prudent, having due regard to the speed of the vehicle, the condition of the highway surface and the nature of traffic upon the highway but in every instance the operator of the following vehicle shall leave at least eight feet of distance between for two vehicles for every 10 miles per hour of speed.
