§ 7112. Definitions
TITLE 9: VEHICLE CODE DIVISION 7: SERIOUS TRAFFIC OFFENSES AND PENALTIES § 7112. Penalty: General. (a) Except where a different penalty is provided, every person who fails or refuses to comply with or violates any provision of this title is guilty of an infraction punishable by a fine of not more than 500. (b) Except where a different penalty is provided, every person who knowingly or willfully violates any provision of this title which is punishable as a misdemeanor shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to not more than six months imprisonment, or a fine of not more than $500, or both.
