§ 7143. CABO Code Adopted. [Repealed]
TITLE 2: NATURAL RESOURCES DIVISION 7: BUILDING AND ZONING CODES § 7143. CABO Code Adopted. [Repealed.] [Effective 180 days after Dec. 19, 2019, this section is repealed.] Source: PL 6-45, § l (§ 7143); repealed by PL 21-14, § 2 (Dec. 19, 2019). Commission Comment: PL 21-14, § 8, provided a delayed effective date for the repeal of this section. See the Commission Comment to 2 CMC § 7114 for the full text of this effective date provision. Prior to its repeal, this section read as follows: Single family dwellings and duplexes not requiring special architectural or engineering design shall comply with the requirements of Part I (Section R-115), Parts II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII and the appendices of the 1986 edition of the Council of American Building Officials (CABO) Code for one and two family dwellings. Requirements for such dwellings in the Uniform Building Code are superseded by the adoption of the CABO Code in this section.
