§ 7149. Water Conservation Systems
TITLE 2: NATURAL RESOURCES DIVISION 7: BUILDING AND ZONING CODES § 7149. Water Conservation Systems. (a) The building safety official shall require the construction of water catch- ment facilities in all buildings to which this code applies, construction of which begins after February 2, 1990. To the greatest extent feasible, such catchments shall be sized so as to provide adequate water for all flushing of toilets in the building. (b) The building safety official is encouraged to approve alternative systems of sewage disposal that result in the conservation of potable water and meet all applicable standards of public health.
