TITLE 7: CIVIL PROCEDURE DIVISION 4: JUDGMENTS; ENFORCEMENT OF JUDGMENTS § 4401. Short Title. This chapter may be cited as the Uniform Enforcement of Foreign Judgments Act of 1994. Source: PL 9-41 § 1. Commission Comment: PL 9-41 took effect June 5, 1995. The Revised Uniform Enforcement of Foreign Judgments Act was approved by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws and the American Bar Association in 1964. PL 9-41 retained most of the language in the uniform act, which has been adopted (with variations) in several U.S. jurisdictions.
