§ 5705. Garment Worker Pool. [Repealed]

TITLE 9: VEHICLE CODE DIVISION 5: RULES OF THE ROAD § 5705. Operating Motorcycles, Motor Scooters, and Mopeds on High- ways Laned for Traffic. (a) All motorcycles and motor scooters, other than mopeds, are entitled to full use of a lane and no motor vehicle may be driven in such a manner as to deprive any motorcycle or motor scooter of the full use of a lane. This subsection does not apply to motorcycles or motor scooters operated two abreast in a single lane. (b) The operator of a motorcycle or motor scooter may not overtake and pass in the same lane occupied by the vehicle being overtaken. This subsection does not apply to a motorcyclist passing a bicycle, to the operator of a moped, nor to a police officer in the performance of his duties. (c) No person may operate a motorcycle, motor scooter, or moped between lanes of traffic or between adjacent lines or rows of vehicles. This subsection does not apply to police officers in the performance of their duties. (d) Motorcycles, motor scooters, and mopeds may not be operated more than two abreast in a single lane. (e) Motor scooters and mopeds shall be operated on the right lane of a two or more laned highway at all times except when making a turn.
