§ 1377. Non-sex Offender Related Crimes

TITLE 6: CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE DIVISION 1: CRIMES AGAINST THE PERSON § 1377. Non-sex Offender Related Crimes. (a) Harboring. A person is guilty of a crime punishable by up to 365 days in jail, a fine not more than 2,000 fine or both if they do any of the following: (1) Willfully misuse or alter public record information relating to a sex offender or sexual predator, or a person residing or working at an address reported by a sex offender, including information displayed by law enforcement agencies on web sites; or (2) Sell or exchange sex offender information for profit. Commission Comment: The Commission italicized titles of subsections for emphasis and changed capitalization in this section for conformity pursuant to 1 CMC § 3806(f). To correct a manifest error, the Commission removed the duplicate term “fine” in subsection (a) pursuant to 1 CMC § 3806(g).
