§ 1462. Interfering With a Domestic Violence Report
TITLE 6: CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE DIVISION 1: CRIMES AGAINST THE PERSON § 1462. Interfering With a Domestic Violence Report. (a) A person, other than the victim, commits the crime of interfering with a domestic violence report if the person knowingly interferes with another person who is reporting or attempting to report a crime involving domestic violence to a law enforcement agency, emergency medical personnel, or any other person who might reasonably be expected to render assistance to the victim. (b) A person convicted under this section may be punished by imprisonment for a term not to exceed one year, by a fine not to exceed $1,000, or both. Source: PL 14-9, § 3 (1502), modified.
