§ 2110. Registration- Lost or Damaged Cards and Plates
TITLE 9: VEHICLE CODE DIVISION 2: REGISTRATION AND LICENSES § 2110. Registration: Lost or Damaged Cards and Plates. If any registration card or registration plate is lost, mutilated or becomes illeg- ible, the owner, legal representative, or successor in interest of the owner of the vehicle or bicycle for which the card or plate was issued as shown by the records of the bureau shall immediately make another application. Upon furnishing information satisfactory to the bureau and payment of the fee, the applicant may obtain a duplicate, a substitute, or a new registration under a new number as determined to be most advisable by the bureau.
