§ 5655. Cancellation or Revocation of Special Identification Placard; Grounds
TITLE 9: VEHICLE CODE DIVISION 5: RULES OF THE ROAD § 5655. Cancellation or Revocation of Special Identification Placard; Grounds. (a) The Bureau of Motor Vehicles may cancel or revoke a special identifica- tion placard issued pursuant to this article in any of the following events: (1) When the Bureau of Motor Vehicles is satisfied that the placard was fraudulently obtained or erroneously issued. (2) When the placard could have been refused by the Bureau of Motor Ve- hicles when last issued or renewed. (3) When the Bureau of Motor Vehicles determines that the person to whom the placard has been issued has abused the parking privilege accorded to persons with disabilities in this article by allowing the placard to be used for the benefit of others not actively and immediately transporting or accom- panying the placard holder. (4) When the Bureau of Motor Vehicles determines that the person to whom the placard has been issued has committed any other violation of the provisions of this article.
