§ 5810. Children in Front Seat
TITLE 9: VEHICLE CODE DIVISION 5: RULES OF THE ROAD § 5810. Children in Front Seat. (a) No child or other person may ride on the lap of the operator or other front seat passenger of a motor vehicle while the vehicle is in operation. (b) No one shall be permitted to stand in the front seat of a vehicle or other- wise obstruct the vision or movements of the operator of a vehicle. Source: PL 3-61, § 1 (§ 570).
